‘Earth Our Home’ a new composition and work in progress

I am creating a 21-minute concert-music piece reflecting on and inspired by the Earth Charter and the Universal Declaration of the Rights of Mother Earth. The work is being written for string, percussion, guitars, winds, piano and perhaps spoken word. It will incorporate the instrumentation, rhythms and soundscapes of world music.  In it, I will explore musical interconnectedness, interweaving different world cultures into one musical web, hoping to inspire others to act on the behalf of Earth, Our Home.
